Alright, here's an interesting observation I came across. Apparantly, the numbers, 4 8 15 16 23 42, can be made to equal Dharma in a numerical play-on-words:
4: The 4th letter in the alphabet is D
8: The 8th letter in the alphabet is H
15: If you add 4 + 8 + 15, you get 27 which goes back to A.
16: 4 + 8 + 15 = 27, and 4 + 8 + 15 + 16 = 43. 27 + 43 = 70 which gives you a R.
23: 16 + 23 = 39, therefore M.
42: 4 + 8 + 15 + 16 + 23 = 66, and 23 + 42 = 65. 65 + 66 = 131 which is A.
Okay, so it's not the most likely idea considering the inconsistancy...but if it's for real...
Does this mean the numbers are just the numerical translation for Dharma? Why are they incorpated everyone, then? For example: 815 in Oceanic Flight 815, Danielle has been on the island for 16 years, 4 years seems to be an important year span etc.
