On Veronica Mars, which airs the same time as "Lost", an interesting connection to "Lost" occurred. At the end of the episode, Veronica is looking at a fortune from a fortune cookie which reads:
"TRUE LOVE STORIES
NEVER HAVE ENDINGS
4 8 15 16 23 42"
Hmmm...the "numbers"...
